A bush walk gives guests the opportunity to get up close to a variety of game as well as learn more about their instincts. behaviour and tracks. Participants will also gain knowledge on birds, and different types of
grass and trees.
Kilima Private Game Reserve and Spa offers a very special Walk to the Mapungubwe-linked ruins – led by a qualified guide – catering to experienced as well as novice walkers. All walks start after breakfast and vary between a relaxing hour-long casual walk. or a more adventurous detour to the look-out point at the Ruins.
• Guests are not allowed to leave the camp and walk alone .As a safety precaution on individuals older than 16 can participate in the bush walks. Mini-bush walks led by a ranger or tracker around the camp are however available to those younger than 16.
• Guests over the age of 60 are required to submit a medical certificate confirming they are in good health
• Participants must wear closed, comfortable shoes and neutral-colored clothing
• The ranger/tracker will use their discretion concerning anything that could pose a threat or jeopardize the safety of guests. these include the degree of fitness, agility, and physical restrictions. (As stipulated by FGASA Field Guides Association of SA)
